As early as 5th grade, I battled weight and body image. In my mid-30’s, I had low self-esteem, low energy, and shame. I was at risk for diabetes, high blood pressure, and other diseases.
So, I just started walking and then began running every day for several miles. Surprisingly I started to enjoy it. I progressed to strength training discovered it had the mood boost like running offered plus the ability to sculpt a better-looking body.
